xfiles
Trying to script installations of multiple programs and cannot get the first one to run. I am trying to install Google Chrome. I can get the install to start but I cannot figure out how to get by the UAC prompt. Thanks for any help or point me in the right direction. Thanks X
JohnOne
Hi. UAC is there to hinder malicious intent. Just leave the UAC in and let the user decide if they want to allow it. You can easily continue the installation when the user clicks "Yes". AutoIt Absolute Beginners Require a serial Pause Script Video Tutorials by Morthawt ipify Monkey's are, like, natures humans. Moderators Melba23 Posted June 6, 2012 Moderators Share Posted June 6, 2012 xfiles,Welcome to the AutoIt forum. As JohnOne has said, we do not support any requests to bypass security measures that are put in place to prevent malicious intent - not that I am suggesting you have any of course, but any help you get could also be seen by less scrupulous viewers. So we will close this thread now. You might like to look at the Forum Rules to prevent any further unwitting infringements when you post in future. See you soon I hope.
