You never mentioned whether ctrl+a works.

One of the first things I tried, and ofcourse no it doesn't work.

BTW According to the forum this is my last message that I'm allowed to post until 4 PM (UK Time) tomorrow, so if I go quiet I'm not ignoring people.

Yes they are vehicle manuals.

The files are actually in a database, but its old and outdated and uses proprietry data formats, making alomst impossible to read. I have spend a couple months bashing it, but now in a couple of days I've got further with the automation method than I got trying to attack the DB and associated files.

I doubt if Etk Widgets have any kind of accessibility

reading some stuff (assuming this is the library used for the controls) http://docs.enlightenment.org/api/etk/html/etk__table_8h.html

but maybe with OCR you can come somewhere

You found more than I did, despite a couple of days googling various combinations.

OCR may help, not really looked at that, but does anybody have any ideas on either selecting all documents, or get a count of documents from the table. To recap Ctrl+A doesn't work. And it loks like it responds to Up, Down, Pgup, Pgdn, Home, End. And Space toggles the current Selection. And you can slect multiple lines.
