WMI GPU configuration, Help with string compare!!

Recommended Posts

So I'm trying to query my WMI to get the GPU settings and act appropriately. But when I compare it to other strings using case, It does not match. Please help! I'm sure it's a simple solution, I've just been working on it too long to see it.

Code posted below!

#include <Array.au3>

$wbemFlagForwardOnly = ""
Global $var, $objWMIService, $colItems, $sWMIService, $sName, $sModel ,$ConnInfo[1][1]
$var = RegRead ( "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Generic Registry","Key" )
$sWMIService = "winmgmts:\\" & @ComputerName & "\root\CIMV2"
$objWMIService = ObjGet($sWMIService)
IF IsObj($objWMIService) Then
$colItems = $objWMIService.ExecQuery("SELECT * FROM Win32_VideoController")

  If IsObj($colItems) Then
    $i = 1
    For $objItem In $colItems
        ReDim $ConnInfo[$i + 1][2]
        $ConnInfo[$i][0] = $objItem.name(0)
        $i = $i + 1

    Next
    Else
    EndIf
EndIf
; chech gpu name against others and set cgminer arguments accordingly

For $i = 1 To $ConnInfo[0][0]

    $objWMIService = ObjGet("winmgmts:\\" & @ComputerName & "\root\CIMV2")
    $colItems = $objWMIService.ExecQuery('SELECT * FROM Win32_videocontroller')
Next
$data = ""

_ArrayDisplay($ConnInfo)

 MsgBox(0, "title", $ConnInfo[1][0] )
 $ConnInfo[1][0] = $sName

Switch $sName
Case "Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family"
        $GPUSETTINGS =" Mobile settings here"
    Case Else
        $GPUSETTINGS ="not working!!?"
EndSwitch

ConsoleWrite($GPUSETTINGS)

$sName has no value assigned to it.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.
