EXE back to script.. possible??

Is it possible to convert an AutoIt EXE file back into a script??

I have a few AutoIt EXEs that a colleague wrote for me a couple years back. I recently lost the scripts from my hard drive and I no longer have his contact info. These programs perform tasks based on time of day and I now need to 'tweak' the time settings on them.

If it is not possibe to convert an EXE back to a script, then could someone point me to some good code samples/examples that would show how a script can close and re-open a specific progam at the same time every day.

THANKS!

Mike

No it is not. Any discussion on getting someone to do it, reporting on how to do it or any other naughty things is a ban-able offense.

To get the script to run at a certain time each day, just use the Windows task scheduler.

mem94043,

Not legally - and it is not something we discuss here. :naughty:

That is not difficult at all. You will need a loop running to check the time (there are some timing macros (@HOUR, @MIN, @SEC, @MSEC) which will give you that to microsecond precision) - then when the moment arrives ProcessClose and Run should get your program closed and reopened. And if you care to share this program's name, we might even be able to offer you a less drastic method for closing it. ;)
