WinGetState no longer working?

The above example is provided in the docs, yet when I run it, no matter what state the window is in, I get -23 as the status. I also tried making a custom scrit to test diff states, but still get the same result. ( I used code from the example above)

I'm sure I am missing something here, but is there maybe a UDF that handles this better, or some example code someone has to make this easier?

The example works perfectly for me - the function returns 23 when minimized, 47 when maximized and 15 when neither.

Hm, works fine for me as well, same results as Melba23.

BTW, you're not getting -23, you're getting 23, the hyphen is in the text for the message box.

HA! I feel like an idjit.. 

I really have no idea why this is happening then. I have had similar problems with the computers in my work environment. There has to be something in windows causing this then.
