Titurofox
Hi, i'm posting this message because i'm making a script that need to automatise a task from the user and i have some problems... The task : the script need to press some buttons on a window (i know how to, white ControlClick()). The bug : At a moment, the application that i want to automatise (named AdwCleaner), kill all the running applications processes (including my script...) and then the script stop and can't finish it's task. What i've tryied : I Have used the function ProcessSetPriority() and it's not working, AdwCleaner still killing the process. i have also tryied to make it a fake System process but it's not working ;( Anyone have an idea to help me ? PS: I'm very sorry if i'm making some misstakes, i'm not a PRO in English... (i'm french)
JohnOne
"unkillable" process is a bit taboo here, it has much potential to be used as malware, It's doubtful you will get much help, regardless of your intentions. Somerset
I wouldn't suggest bringing this "topic" in a different way either. Like JohnOne said this reeks of malware, whether it is intended or not.
SadBunny
Virus scanners sometimes delete AutoIt executables because of false positives. If the machine is under your control, there is no reason at all to take this approach. Whitelest your process in AdwCleaner, or better, change to another antivirus product. If the machine is *not* under your control, advise the user to whitelist your application or switch AV programs, you can't help it that the user uses a faulty security product. If you still think creating an unkillable or "fake system" process is the way to go, then you are in fact creating malware, in the sense that it is software that actively tries to circumvent security measures on other people's computers. Good luck. Roses are FF0000, violets are 0000FF... All my base are belong to you.
