Alexxander Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Today i installed the latest v3.3.14.0after a clean windows install ,during the installation of autoit my eset nod found a virus inC:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\AutoIt3Help.exehere is the online scanhttps://www.virustotal.com/en/file/b25d575ebd36301b0e12940f01d53a922148d1471f832aeb327d1e78741d7f31/analysis/i believe this is a false positive, but we need a prove , then we could fix thisthis is the first time my AV find a virus in autoit, i had been using autoit and eset fro more than 3 years , any one had the same issue ?
reb Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 (edited) I did also. McAffe quarantined it. I just turned off the live scan and turned off the internet then re installed. then reactivated McAffe and excluded the file in real time scan. I just trust Autoit to not do anything like that. Maybe something is infecting it.-MalwarebytesBut mine is not like yours 1.0.0.7 it is 1.0.0.6 ^^It looks really like there is something defect with 1.0.0.7.
