$OtherAu3 = @DesktopDir & '\Example.au3'
Run(@AutoItExe & ' /AutoIt3ExecuteScript "' & $OtherAu3 & '"')

Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.

says "unable to parse a line"

You need beta... and the direct path to the file.

Don't be a moron, most of us here have learned from the help file. Did you even bother to look up his quote in the help file? Doubtful considering you had to ask for links to _MouseClickPlus etc... when all you had to do was do an advanced search for titles in quotes. Matter of fact, if you bothered to look at briegel's post in the help file, you would see that there's a really close example of what I gave. You don't want to read what I'm sick of.

Ok, well whether you are one of these people or not, most new people to autoit refuse to use the helpfile (god knows why) and because there are over 12,000 people here, it is hard to tell who is and isn't that kind of person, so if your answer is in the helpfile, whether you understand it or not, people are going to point you there, because thats why it's there for n00bs to help themselves

when this happens

simply say:

"I don't understand whats in the helpfile, please clarify it for me"

not like what you said in the quote above

you will get less respect and WAY less help with insults

@Smoke

Beat me too the lecture :lmao:

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day.

Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

Thats reminds me to Civ 4 :whistle:

Please not another thread of complaining people. :)
