Hi,

I used to cout the lines of jpg, rar, and it returns negative value, like -4011,what does it mean?

if you "could" read the lines in a jpg file... what are you going to do with it???

8)

it probably should state what type files are able to be used in the help file

HI,

I agree with the helpfile thing. I tested it. It seems to be the size - 6.

I opened a file in Ultraedit it shows number - 6 as size.

So long,

Mega

Hi,

try

#include<File.au3>
$path = "c:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\xf01145\Eigene Dateien\Eigene Bilder\cursor.JPG"
MsgBox(0,"Size", FileGetSize($path))
MsgBox(0,"", _FileCountLines($path))
If @error = 1 Then ConsoleWrite("Error")

So long,

Mega

I hope you're not serious about the helpfile statement ... right ?

To me its like a "Don't use this Microwave to dry your cat" remark.... :P
