How do I send the text value from an array to notepad

Recommended Posts

How do I send a single text value from an array to notepad. Say if i have 6 values in an array called $anArray. and I want to choose the 3rd value i.e. $anArray[3] and write this value to notepad?

Is this what you mean?

Dim $array[3]
$array[0]="First line"
$array[1]="Second line"
$array[2]="Third line"

Run("notepad.exe")

WinActivate("Naamloos - Kladblok")   ; <-- Window title for _DUTCH_ version of notepad, be sure to change this to your own Notepad window title!

Send($array[1])

Hi, check this out...

Opt("WinTitleMatchMode", 2)

$NotePadPid = Run("Notepad.exe")
ProcessWait($NotePadPid)
$NotePadTitle = WinGetTitle("Notepad")

Dim $Array[5] = [0, "Arr1", "Arr2", "Needed line Arr", "Arr4"]
ControlSetText($NotePadTitle, "", "Scintilla1", $Array[3])

This will fit for all notepad titles, and set text from $Array[3].
