When Reading ini-data surrounding quotes are stripped from the read ini-data.

Is this correct behavior?

Hi,

The Windows API function strips the outer quotes so yes it is correct behavior AFAIK. Double up your quotes will allow outer quotes to be stripped but the inner quotes remain thus you have quotes.

Example:

IniWrite('test.ini', 'section', 'key', '""value""')
MsgBox(0, 'title', IniRead('test.ini', 'section', 'key', 'error'))

Output:

---------------------------

title

---------------------------

"value"

---------------------------

OK

---------------------------

IniReadSection does preserve the quotes, so here is an UDF to solve the issue:
