whats wrong with this?

Bass.au3 include file is not native in AutoIt, so not so many people can answer on that question :)

Hi,

What operating system are you running?

There are many reasons your script could crash. Make sure Bass.au3 and BassConstants.au3 are in the same folder. Also, make sure that Bass.dll is in the same folder and the file name is the same as in the DllOpen.

This worked for me:

#include <Bass.au3>
#include <BassConstants.au3>

Global $Bass = DllOpen('Bass.dll')
_BASS_Init($Bass, $BASS_DEVICE_MONO)
If @error Then
    MsgBox(0, '1', @error)
EndIf
$Stream = _BASS_StreamCreateFile($Bass, False, 'Sample.mp3', 0, 0, $BASS_STREAM_DECODE)
If @error Then
    MsgBox(0, '2', @error)
EndIf
$data = _BASS_ChannelGetData($Bass, $Stream, $BASS_DATA_FFT256)

If @error Then
    MsgBox(0, '3', @error)
EndIf
MsgBox (0, "", "Everything is OK!" & @CRLF)

Cheers,

Brett

is the udf on the example script

And you could provide at least the url on the topic with it, so the guy who want's to help, will not have to search for it :o - I personally (sometimes) loosing an interest when i see a topic where i need to do searching and downloading extra stuff to just run the script and check the problem.

P.S

Sorry for the offtopic, it's just a (kind of) note for the future posters :)
