You can make it one long logical line using the concatenate operator - '&' and @LF macro.

Oh, sorry for my dumbness.

Just create a GUI window without caption and put a combo box all over it and do whatever you want with it.

Like Authenticity said to start with just concatenate the strings.

$t = '-----OPTIONS-----' & @CR & 'Next line' & @CR & 'another line'
ToolTip($t,0,0)

You mean this?

#include <WindowsConstants.au3>
HotKeySet('^w', 'Show')
HotKeySet('{ESC}', '_EXIT')

Dim $hGUI = GUICreate('', 200, 20, Default, Default, $WS_POPUP, $WS_EX_TOOLWINDOW + $WS_EX_TOPMOST)
Dim $ComboBox = GUICtrlCreateCombo('', 0, 0, 200, 200)

While 1
    Sleep(20)
WEnd

Func _EXIT()
    Exit
EndFunc

Func Show()
        GUICtrlSetData($ComboBox, '')
    GUICtrlSetData($ComboBox, 'Line 1|Line 2|Line 3|Line 4', 'Line 1')
    GUISetState()

    While 1
        Local $Msg = GUIGetMsg()
        If $Msg = $ComboBox Then ExitLoop
        Sleep(20)
    WEnd

    GUISetState(@SW_HIDE)
EndFunc
