lbrtdy Posted June 18, 2009 Share Posted June 18, 2009 (edited) Hello forum, I need some assistance. How do you make a gui that lists process that has the title "sro_client.exe" that you can select and push okay to which assigns it as a variable $process? It's part of a longer script, and to launch the process list, I made a traymenu which launches it, just can't really figure out how to design/code the gui part (if gui's are needed), there probably shouldn't be more room than 3 processes listed. thanks Edited June 18, 2009 by lbrtdy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

lbrtdy Posted June 18, 2009 Author Share Posted June 18, 2009 Okay your script works, but another question, <-- fairly new to autoit. Here's your script but with my GUI changes: #include <ButtonConstants.au3> #include <GUIConstantsEx.au3> #include <GUIListBox.au3> #include <WindowsConstants.au3> $Form1 = GUICreate("Process List", 180, 201, 488, 372) $List = GUICtrlCreateList("", 8, 8, 161, 149) $Button1 = GUICtrlCreateButton("OK", 8, 168, 75, 25, $WS_GROUP) $Button2 = GUICtrlCreateButton("Cancel", 96, 168, 75, 25, $WS_GROUP) $aProcList = ProcessList("sro_client.exe") $sProc_List = "" For $i = 1 To UBound($aProcList)-1 $sProc_List &= $aProcList[$i][0] & " ~ " & $aProcList[$i][1] & "|" Next GUICtrlSetData($List, $sProc_List) GUISetState(@SW_SHOW) While 1 $nMsg = GUIGetMsg() Switch $nMsg Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Exit Case $Button2 GUISetState(@SW_HIDE) ;Case $Button1 ;= $PROC EndSwitch WEnd How do I make it so when I push okay, whatever process is highlighted = $PROC (the section I commented out) Thanks! lbrtdy Posted June 19, 2009 Author Share Posted June 19, 2009 Okay when I added in the portion, the script gives me an error at line 813, but when I comment out the portion I added (above the comment line I created), everything runs smoothly. The error is duplicate function name. I attached the script since it's a little big to post.PlayerInfo.au3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

lbrtdy Posted June 19, 2009 Author Share Posted June 19, 2009 Yeah it was posted on a forum as a character monitor, but just trying to add a little more functionality to it, as it stands it's solid, don't worry I'm not reposting + claiming credit Just trying to play around with autoit + add more functionality Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
MrCreatoR Posted June 19, 2009 Share Posted June 19, 2009 To add more functionality to some other big projects, first of all you must know AutoIt good enough, and then you must learn how the project is working, what it does, what resources it uses, etc. Spoiler Using OS: Win 7 Professional, Using AutoIt Ver(s): 3.3.6.1 / 3.3.8.1 AutoIt Russian Community My Work...
