{#} is sent as [3]

need another ideas, my prog is based on this symbol

(notice : in notepad is shown as # but on the other window is shown as [3] or 3 )

Also just found that i can`t send a key and keep it pressed for a moment (sendkeydowndelay not working fine for me)

security prog for IP cameras that i want to do some stuff automaticly via hotkeys (i`m sending the keys via autoit but fail)

Try Send("+3") and if that fails use Send("{ASC 0035}") Don't use the flag 1

that show`s the # symbol
