[Question] AdlibRegister

5 posts in this topic

Questions simple. If I register two AdlibRegister's in my script. Lets say the first one for 5 minutes and the second one for 10 minutes. When the fist AdlibRegister runs its second run it will be at the same time as the 10 minute AdlibRegister. Now my question is, will it only run the first AdlibRegister to trigger, or will it run them back-to-back until they both are done?

Autoit3 cannot run any two things at the same time.

One of them is registered first I expect that will run, then the other.

No one said anything about at the same time, autoit is not multi-threaded.

Warmonger,

Questions simple

Did you think to write a small script to find out the answer for yourself? :>

AdlibRegister("Five", 5000)
AdlibRegister("Ten", 10000)

HotKeySet("{ESC}", "On_Exit")

While 1
    Sleep(10)
WEnd

Func Five()
    ConsoleWrite("5 @ " & @SEC & @CRLF)
EndFunc

Func Ten()
    ConsoleWrite("10 @ " & @SEC & @CRLF)
EndFunc

Func On_Exit()
    Exit
EndFunc

As you can see, you get the Adlibs run one after the other - and before you ask, the order of registering does not seem to affect the order in which they are run. :unsure:

True, i've been very busy in Visual Studio so not much time to code. I just want to make sure a previous script I released was fine. Thanks. Edited by Warmonger
