Is there a (simple) way to make your script using a picture-control to resize the gui?
This would be useful for a transparant pop-up window with a custom made theme using picture controls:
$Form = GUICreate('', 301, 173, 5, 5, $WS_POPUP, BitOR($WS_EX_LAYERED, $WS_EX_TOPMOST)) GUICtrlCreatePic(@scriptdir & "\resize_win.bmp", 0, 73, 20, 51) ; some api call or code telling the os to use this picture as a resize border GUICtrlSetResizing(-1, $GUI_DOCKLEFT+$GUI_DOCKTOP+$GUI_DOCKBOTTOM+$GUI_DOCKWIDTH+$GUI_DOCKHEIGHT) GUISetState(@SW_SHOW) While True if GUIGetMsg() = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE then Exit WEnd
EDIT: to make it more clear what i wanna do, if you go with the mouse arrow over the border of a re-sizable window the arrow changes to a "resize" arrow, you click and drag the border and then the window size adjusts to the mouse position until you release the mouse button.
I want my picture control to be used the same way as the resize border to resize my window.
Is it possible to Call specific function within a GUI
So I have a script with multiple functions although I don't want to use every function every time.
My Idea is to create a simple GUI which allows me to select what functions I want to use then run the funtions by clicking a button.
I have already made a GUI which allows me to select specific .exe's I would like to run after selection it runs the .exe one by one.
This script is on my work laptops and cannot access it right now.
Who can help me with this?
Then have a boxes which allows me to select the specif Func.(I used GUIChecked and Unchecked in my other script)
Then a button which executes/calls the selected functions
So I just got a new computer, and instantly went and installed Autoit onto it. I selected run script as default action when clicking on an au3 file, however every time I do this it opens the script in the editor. I can from there run the script no problem.
I've tried reinstalling and checking the settings by hitting "Ctrl+1" and have confirmed it is set to run, but yet it just continues to open in the editor.
Any ideas why this is happening or how to solve?
New system is windows 10, old was windows 7
Im trying to launch a .exe file that is nested within the program files (x86) folder structure. i have already used the standard RunAs Syntax and found that it fails to launch the application. I have switched to Run and that seems to work. My issue is I have to use RunAs as the applicaton would need to run under a completely different account. The Current logged in user is a Local User on the machine, however, the application must be run as a domain user. The Machine is domain connected.
have tried the following:
RunAs("username","logonpassword", $RUN_LOGON_PROFILE, "D:\Program Files (x86)\Vendor\Application Name\Exe Location\Executable.exe") The above fails to launch, there are no errors or syntax issues, it just does nothing when the variables are replaced for the correct values.
I did the same using the Run command
Run("D:\Program Files (x86)\Vendor\Application Name\Exe Location\Executable.exe") That seems to work fine, but runs in local user context. Any thoughts? Could it be a local Machine rights issue? Or have i missed something glaring in my script
Here's my take on an auto completer, work in progress so don't be too harsh with me.
The idea is that after a spacebar press, it learns the word that was previously written, and the next time you write, it gets a list of all words that fit into what you're writing, so if the user writes "com", a word that may appear is "complex", that is, if the user has written it anytime in the past.
A popup will show up whenever the user writes with the list of words, the way to select one of the words from the list is to scroll with the mouse wheel, and middle click. The popup timeout is 2.5 secs.
PS for the next step would be nice to save words as they are, for example emails, as it is it doesn't get @ for example.
