nitekram Posted July 28, 2012 Share Posted July 28, 2012 I had installed Scite (full version) to a thumb drive...and moved all the files to a network drive. It appears all the functions work like TIDY and if you start typing the function name it gives you a list of options and then afterwards it will give you a list of parameters/flags - but for some reason when I click F1 it does not want to bring up the function - says the following - any help as I have search for options but cannot locate where to change the path? If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. nitekram Posted August 1, 2012 Author Share Posted August 1, 2012 OK tried again to install with the GUI (portable version) - let it sit a good while and the bars went across, but it does not look like it installed correctly, as I am still unable to access the help and now unable to access F5 to run - ERRORS. Plus the SCITE never took. I drop the files on the GUI, but not sure if it did what it was supposed to do. - Thanks for any help... I still have my other install and the only thing that is missing is what I started this post with - the help file. Is there a path that I need to change and if so can you share?
