faustf,

If you are creating the array and want a count in the [0] element then you need to increase the count at each pass through the loop - it does not just "happen". ;)

It would be more helpful to include a reproducible script...your questions are hard to figure out.

IEbyXPATH-Grab IE DOM objects by XPATH IEscriptRecord-Makings of an IE script recorder ExcelFromXML-Create Excel docs without excel installed GetAllWindowControls-Output all control data on a given window.

Indeed they are.  Do you mean something like this...

local $aMyArray[100]

for $1 = 0 to ubound($aMyArray) - 1
    if not mod($1,10) and $1 > 0 then ConsoleWrite('Elements processed = ' & $1 & @CRLF)
next

or something like this...

#include <array.au3>

local $aMyArray[1]

for $1 = 1 to 100

    if random(0,1,1) then
        redim $aMyArray[ubound($aMyArray)+1]
        $aMyArray[ubound($aMyArray)-1] = $1
        $aMyArray[0] += 1
    endif

Next

_arraydisplay($aMyArray)

Look at example #2 that I posted, or, do you mean something like this...

local $aNames = ['John','Jim','Jack','Jeremy','Josh','Jalen']
ConsoleWrite('There are ' & ubound($aNames) & ' names in the array.' & @CRLF)

Just use Ubound.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.
