AutoIt Tweaker

Recommended Posts

InternetMonkeyBoy

I'm going to build a new function that I have been unable to find.   PLEASE CORRECT ME.  It will tweak the internal AutoIt functions giving me the ability to trash stuff I do not want to spin around.  Get it?  Please throw me whatever you got and I will put it togeather.  Ship it now.

My supersleep() will be in here somewhere.   It's on another thread.

tweak the internal functions? Your posted supersleep() is what we refer to as a User defined Function (UDF) and we have A LOT available already in the standard package, so anything special you are thinking of?

In a word, no, I read that 8 times and don't "get it". Care to elaborate in English?

Please understand I love AutoIt and want to use it for more.  If you guys and gals need to make some money and change to a commercial product let me be the first to offer up $500 US.

I want to access everything like trash collection for instance.   Many of my processes are very fixed or static.  They do not change much or manipulate much data.   Trash collection doesn't need to be done very much.  I really need all the CPU horsepower I can get.

If you use onevent can I somehow turn off any msg checking, or is that done automatically?

Func AutoIt_Tweaker( $cmd, $attribute)

; Anything I can reach

EndFunc

Do I want to tweak the stuff that can break a program unless it's used right?  Yes.

pps - I understand that we may appear to be tards to you sometimes and I mean this with the most respect ::  Sometimes the tone of your response could use a little tweaking... (please don't ban me lol)  Thanks for your time.

Is this the "royal" we ?
As to the comments received: One normally get responses in line with what is posted. In your case you're not making much sense whatsoever!

It's ok I'll get it done.   Already started working on a pre-processor and that may be the way to go.

Anyone else has some ideas to point me in the right direction?  (>> Melba? <<)

I'm trying to kill a malware process, that I can't remove with my www.sophus.com/hom antivirus.

The malware is known as coinminer, config and my Sophus only creates popups of blocking the malware.

I know that the malware is constantly launching a svchost *32.exe processes, where the svchost.exe processes are from my Windows 7 operating system.
I have with no luck tried to do this:
      Global $_bStatus = False
      While $_bStatus = False
                 Global $_iPid
                 Global $_sActiveTitleNew = "svchost *32.exe"
                 $_iPid = WinGetProcess($_sActiveTitleNew)
                 If $_iPid <> -1 Then $_bStatus = ProcessClose($_iPid)
      Wend
      EXIT

But the $_iPid doesn't ever show anything else than  -1, even if I can see the svchost *32.exe process in my TaskManager

YES - I know I shouldn't EXIT after killing the first malware detection, but it is easier to explain the above for you, so I can get a solution.

TL;DR: Anyway to bypass built in sleep on TrayGetMsg() and GUIGetMsg() ?

I'm currently working on a project that does some heavy array/ GDI+ processing, which depending what I have it do can take between 4s - 1min. During this time, I'd like to have the Tray icon (mainly, possibly also the GUI) for the program be responsive, so that if someone wanted to change actions or exit the script during this, they can without closing the process.

Currently I have my TrayGetMsg and GUIGetMsg captures in my main program loop, working great, and once I go into the array/ GDI+ functions I tried switching it to an AdlibRegister call, unregistering it once completed. The problem with this is that it's adding ~10-20% more time into those functions, which I'd like to avoid. As I understand it, and from the helpfile: "This function automatically idles the CPU when required so that it can be safely used in tight loops without hogging all the CPU." From what I've read/ seen/ tested, this adds a 10ms sleep into the calls. I would rather avoid that sleep all together.

The array/ GDI+ function that I'm doing peg the CPU at 100% (for its core) anyways, so that's not a concern of mine. My only concern for this is speed (and having things be responsive to other actions).

      Here's an example:
      Local $iBlockSize = 20, $iWidth = 1920, $iHeight = 1080, $aBigArray[$iWidth * $iHeight], $iPercentDone, $sLastMsg Local $aSmallerArray[Int(Ceiling($iWidth / $iBlockSize)) * Int(Ceiling($iHeight / $iBlockSize))] Local $sAdlib[] = ["Registered: ", "UnRegistered: ", "Registered to _FakeTray: "], $timer, $iIndexLength = UBound($aBigArray) Local $ixBlocks = Int(Ceiling($iWidth / $iBlockSize)), $iBlockIndex, $iBlockX, $iBlockY For $j = 0 To 2 If $j = 0 Then AdlibRegister("_CheckTray", 100) ElseIf $j = 1 Then AdlibUnRegister("_CheckTray") ElseIf $j = 2 Then AdlibRegister("_FakeTray", 100) EndIf $timer = TimerInit() For $i = 0 To $iIndexLength - 1 ; Loop through $aBigArray $aBigArray[$i] = Random(1, 10, 1) $iPercentDone = Floor(($i / $iIndexLength * 100)) ; Hopefully quick maths to get progress If $sLastMsg <> "We are " & $iPercentDone & "% done" Then ; Check if we're on a new percent $sLastMsg = "We are " & $iPercentDone & "% done" ; If so, update the msg ToolTip($sLastMsg, 0, 0) ; And display the current progress EndIf $y = Floor($i / $iWidth) ; Convert index to Y coordinate $x = Floor($i - ($y * $iWidth)) ; Convert index to X coordinate $iBlockX = Floor($x / $iBlockSize) ; Convert X coord to xBlock coord $iBlockY = Floor($y / $iBlockSize) ; Convert Y coord to yBlock coord $iBlockIndex = Int($iBlockX + ($iBlockY * $ixBlocks)) ; Convert into a blockIndex ;~ If Mod($i, 10000) = 0 Then ;~ ConsoleWrite($iBlockIndex & " - " & $i & @CRLF) ;~ EndIf $aSmallerArray[$iBlockIndex] += Int($aBigArray[$i]) ; Add into $aSmallerArray Next ConsoleWrite("Time to run with Adlib" & $sAdlib[$j] & TimerDiff($timer) & @CRLF) Next Func _CheckTray() Switch TrayGetMsg() Case "Meow" Return Case "Woof" Return EndSwitch EndFunc ;==>_CheckTray Func _FakeTray() Local $sMeow = "Oink" Switch $sMeow Case "Meow" Return Case "Woof" Return EndSwitch EndFunc ;==>_FakeTray Exit On my system, this takes ~1 minute to run, output:

Time to run with AdlibRegistered: 19649.335 Time to run with AdlibUnRegistered: 16264.4124 Time to run with AdlibRegistered to _FakeTray: 16860.1283 >Exit code: 0 Time: 53.92 As you can see, it's ~20.8% faster without the Adlib check, and ~16.5% faster using a (hopefully) reproduction of TrayGetMsg() without the built in sleep. These timings vary, but it's consistently much faster without the TrayGetMsg() sleep (unless it's just that slow). I've used the OnEventModes, and those also slow down performance, more so than just using the GetMsgs, so those are out (but effective, and pretty easy to use).

      Hello my friends
I have an inquiry after your permission
I found a function to get the special line commands for any operation
It requires the name of the process to be searched
I want to use it to know the process
Is this possible with this function
      Here is the code

      Func commandLineGet($proc, $strComputer=".")
      dim $array[1]
      local $ArrayNumber
      local $oWMI = ObjGet("winmgmts:{impersonationLevel=impersonate}!\\" & $strComputer & "\root\cimv2")
      local $oProcessColl = $oWMI.ExecQuery("Select * from Win32_Process where Name= " & '"'& $Proc & '"')
      local $Process
      For $Process In $oProcessColl
      $Process = $Process.Commandline
          ReDim $Array[UBound($Array)+1]
      $ArrayNumber = UBound($Array)-1
      $array[$ArrayNumber] = $Process
      Next
      $ArrayNumber = UBound($Array)-1
      $array[0] = $ArrayNumber
      return $array
      EndFunc

      Hi guys,
It's been a while since I wrote my last message here and a while since I used AutoIt. I'm currently sort of desperate and I'm trying to find some help in regards of getting the network usage per process!
I'm not interested in the total network usage of the NIC, but only on a specific PID's network utilization. They idea is to collect the amount of traffic uploaded and downloaded by a list of specific processes. So far Process Hacker and Process Explorer are capable of getting what I need, but I need to use these numbers in another script so they're sort of useless to me. I can't seem to find a way around it.
Any idea, help is greatly appreciated.
      Thanks

with the below code, I am keeping waiting for a particular file and waiting in the background.
While $i <> 10 Sleep(60000) If FileExists(@ScriptDir&"\Binaries.ini") then --some processing-- $i = 10 endif WEnd I thought keeping the Sleep will freeze the process from resources but the CPU being uilized. But it is taking 47%.
How to free this CPU usage also.?
