Autoit Youtube Query

 Share

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

Has anyone created any queries for youtube? I was thinking it might be something like this but can't quite figure it out:

$oIE = _IECreateEmbedded()
      _IENavigate($oIE,"https://www.youtube.com")
      Local $oForms = _IETagNameGetCollection($oIE, "form")
      Local $sTxt = ""
      For $oForm In $oForms
          If $oForm.id = "masthead-search" Then
             $oInputs = _IETagNameGetCollection($oIE, "input")
             For $oInput In $oInputs
                If $oInput.id = "masthead-search-term" Then
                   _IEFormElementSetValue($oInput, "cards")
                   _IEFormSubmit($oForm)
                EndIf
             Next
          EndIf
       Next

@nassausky please pay attention to where you post in the future. The Examples forum very clearly states:

How can their server be smart enough to give this response:

We're sorry...

... but your computer or network may be sending automated queries.

So my guess is I'm doing it correctly unless there is some other way around it.

nassausky,

Getting that as a reply means that you obviously fall foul of the Forum rules  which forbid the discussion of "Automation of software/sites contrary to their EULA" - so the thread is locked.
