This app can't run on your pc

When I compiled my script or any script to exe using 32 bit compiler and ran on 32 bit machine, I am getting below error.

 

 

But it is 32 bit only.

 

And, for testing, I disabled smart screen also, but same issue.

Please suggest.

Any chance that you are running on a non x86 platform? (ARM, Itanium etc.)

I am testing on a VM virtualbox.

That is probably a generic error message.

Without knowing the ins and outs of your app or PC etc, it could be a few things ... even AV related, if for instance it has locked it.

Getting the same error for a simple script like just message box.
Machine is windows 10 32bit running on a virtualbox.

No antivirus running.

Smart screen is also disabled.

are you using UPX when you compile?

I am just using the compile option with 32 bit selected in the compile screen and remaining are defaults

It is not upx, it is selected as normal only.

 

And it is 32 bit only.

try running the compiled as an admin. context click on the file and run as admin.

To avoid any UPX or other problem. With the compression. 

 

Please run your script with defender disabled. Since you run it on Virtual box then i bet you don't have an AV. So i guess you can do that without defender so we will be able to forget this problem for your case. 

 

 

Also i add i will try to run a script from VB in 2 hours and give you feedback i never tryed yet.
