caramen Posted February 9, 2020 Posted February 9, 2020 (edited) Hello there :), I did my script. 99.99% reliable. I sold my script. And now my customer can't use my script only on his VPS using win server. This is the issue : I'm using an ini file to record option from the script. If I change anything on the Windows server the script is rewriting the Ini.ini and now the ini is returning my error when I call anything inside it. I doubt it's probably an encoding issue. Is there someone that can point me in the right direction, to fix this ? Thanks ! Little edit: 100% sure it's the ini file after record that isn't readable. This test proof it. If I record the original ini with good information on my computer it's working on the Windows server. Until we change any information into it. With windows by editing. Or with AutoIt by switching option. Is it possible that you post the .ini file as an attachment, or does it contain confidential information? "In the beginning the Universe was created. Neutro Posted February 9, 2020 Posted February 9, 2020 Hey, You need to compare the ini files before and after modification has been done on your client windows server. Use binary compare if needed as special characters might not display on text editors. Identify active network connections and change DNS server - Easily export Windows network settings Clean temporary files from Windows users profiles directories - List Active Directory Groups members Export content of an Outlook mailbox to a PST file - File patch manager - IRC chat connect example Thanks again for your help Water!
