Thanks guys!

If you find any bugs or have any suggestions please let me know.

Thanks,

Bob

Seems there is a problem at least for me if you choose any of the # items and select preview

Example:

Choose:

101 Dalmations

I would expect the english version, instead i got the dutch version

hmmm, so I selected 101 Dalmations 2 and got the french version

Tried 101 Reykjavik and got 101 Reasons Not To Be A Pro Wrestler

Tried several times, haven't looked at the code, just playing around with the script.

Btw: if you use the latest beta you'll have to fix the call to the _GuiCtrlStatusBarCreate

if you use an array for the parts you need an array of equal size of the strings.

for example:

$aStatusParts[2] = [420, -1], _
        $aTempStatus[2] = ["",""], _
oÝ÷ Ù«¢+Ø(ÀÌØíMÑÑÕÍ ÈÄô}Õ¥
ÑɱMÑÑÕÍ É

Really nice and helpful script!

A bit messed interface though (for first outlook). For example, this is not obvious that need to press search button after selecting letter (statusbar message not too noticeable). And for search cover we have to click button, but for list search - button absent, need to press enter.

Few ideas:

Maybe better just disable controls that not applicable in moment of time?

Now when you click on list item, you don't know, what kind of covers have this item, until open combo. This is not too convenient.

Also would be nice, if picture keep proportions while preview.

Some statistics about picture also would be good.

Sometimes ads are float while page opening inside IE object. Don't sure though this can be handled...

PS I hope they are will not change site format to block this :)

Thanks! I've been trying to think of some better solutions for these issues.

This should be easy enough, I'll see what I can come up with.

Now when you click on list item, you don't know, what kind of covers have this item, until open combo. This is not too convenient.

What would be more convenient, possible a list?

Also would be nice, if picture keep proportions while preview.

I've been working on this just having troubles getting the logic correct.

Some statistics about picture also would be good.

If you hover over the picture it gives you the image name, dimensions, and size. Is there other info you are wanting?

If you have Popup Blocker enabled in IE you should not get these. I don't know of any other way to handle these.

PS I hope they are will not change site format to block this :)

If they change it I'll just update the script. :P

@CWorks - It is not supposed to display the image in the browser window. I disable images to speed the searching up a bit, this also allows for the download status.

well it never loads in the window like your picture shows

when i hit preview it opens an ie window and hangs the program up since it's waiting for the preview that never happens

i'm using xp pro with sp2 and all it's all up to date

oh and i've tried it with v3.2.0.1 and beta v3.2.1.1

@CWorks - It sounds to me like it is opening a third window rather than using the one I already created. For troubleshooting measures try changing the line below and see if the displayed IE Window ever changes. If it does not this will comfirm my theory. Also what version of IE are you using, and what is your security level set to for Internet sites?

$oIE2 = _IECreate("about:blank", 0, 1, 0)

ok made the change and an ie window opened after launching

security was set to custom with most stuff disabled so i set it to the default (medium)

and then i shut down ie and and your program then removed the change and tried again with same result

and the version is

6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_rtm.040803-2158

and just so i get this straight it's not supposed to open an ie window is it?

it's just supposed load the picture in the preview window right?

i'll try it on another machine but there all set up the same way so i might just get the same result
