mikebob
I have the script below. What would I have to do to make this script exit right away if the nwsetup.dll is not present, also how do I make the pop up screnn disapear when the script is done running instead of timing it? --------------------------------------------------------- Run("RUNDLL32.EXE NWSETUP.DLL NWUninstallClient") SplashTextOn(" IS DEPT - System Update in Progress", "Your system is being updated and will reboot in 45 seconds. Please DO NOT touch you keyboard or mouse until your PC reboots. .", -1, -1, -1, -1, 4, "", 24) Sleep(4000) If WinWait("RUNDLL", "loading NWSETUP", 3) Then ControlClick("RUNDLL", "loading NWSETUP", "Button?") Exit EndIf If WinWait("Uninstall Novell Client for Windows", "uninstall the Novell Client", 60) Then ControlClick("Uninstall Novell Client for Windows", "uninstall the Novell Client", "Button1") WinWait("NMAS Client Components", "remove NMAS Client Components") ControlClick("NMAS Client Components", "remove NMAS Client Components", "Button1") WinWait("NMAS Client Components", "has been successfully uninstalled") ControlClick("NMAS Client Components", "has been successfully uninstalled", "Button1") SplashOff() WinWait("Uninstall Novell Client for Windows", "shut down and restart your computer") ControlClick("Uninstall Novell Client for Windows", "shut down and restart your computer", "Button1") EndIf
Moderators SmOke_N Posted March 6, 2007 Moderators Share Posted March 6, 2007 (edited) FileExists() SplashOff() Your questions were so specific, would have been easy to find using the help file. Edit: I see you used SplashOff() already... If the script is done... then the splash will automatically exit as the script exits. Edited March 6, 2007 by SmOke_N Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.
