What the hell... GUI "crashed" ?

5 posts in this topic

Hi,

im working since a few days (many) on a little guy... now, i added 3 buttons, and add a picture as bg to these buttons.

On my workstation - the GUI works greatly. But now i tried it on another workstation (winxp too) - you can see the result in the attachement.

I tried to comment these buttons since the last change, but ive got the same "error". I tried the script some minutes before on the other machine, and it works fine - then i added the pictures - and now this!

Some ideas?

check your screen size on both computers - make sure there the same, and make a condition that check screen size and then makes the GUI the size needed for that display - ?

Okay - the different screen size could be the reason. But - why works the script on the VM great - then i add 3 icons - and now it "crashs" ? I tried to prevent this error, but i failed.

I thought, that you could know this error - maybe, cause it appears from time to time? Its my second GUI that attends to display things not as this, i programmed it on my workstation.

What you need... the source?

Okay GUI's, i dont know why... maybe, the problem is already reported as a bug ?

I used in the header of my script 3 x the "FileInstall()"-function - after i commented it out, the script works great on other machines. Maybe, its a bug? Or did i something wrong?!
