How to hide the maximize button

I am developing a small app that can be simply restored and minimized to tray, thus the maximize window button in the title is completely unmanaged. Can it be hidden?

If you create a window, or set a windows style, to have no minize or maximize icons then neither will be shown, but if you have just one then the other is shown disabled ASAIK.

Serial port communications UDF Includes functions for binary transmission and reception.printing UDF Useful for graphs, forms, labels, reports etc.Add User Call Tips to SciTE for functions in UDFs not included with AutoIt and for your own scripts.Functions with parameters in OnEvent mode and for Hot Keys One function replaces GuiSetOnEvent, GuiCtrlSetOnEvent and HotKeySet.UDF IsConnected2 for notification of status of connected state of many urls or IPs, without slowing the script.

Hi,

You can hide, but then the minimize button will be hidden as well:

#include <GuiConstants.au3>

$Gui = GuiCreate("Test", -1, -1, -1, -1, $WS_SYSMENU)

GUISetState()

While 1
    $Msg = GUIGetMsg()
    Switch $Msg
        Case -3
            Exit
    EndSwitch
WEnd

I to would like to know a way to leave only Minimize and Close buttons (without creating them manualy).

It just isn't part of the Windows API to hide one but not both of the min/max buttons.

You can't hide the maximize button while the minimize button is still visible. You can easily disable it by using certain GUI styles.
