Insect Scarecrow code

It is a summer & you know what this means right? Its a time when flies, mosquitos & all kind of other disgusting sleezy insects start lurking in the corners & wait for opportunity to suck your blood... muttley

I found this in a catalog where they ask around 10$ USD for their device:

Frequency 30 000 - 65 000 & it changes randomly every second so insects wont be able to adopt to the sound. Im not sure if this actually works, im still testing this.

While 1

    Beep(Random(30000,65000),1000)

WEnd

Edit: Damn. Thanx for info.

From the help file:

The frequency of the beep in hertz. Can be anywhere from 37 through 32,767 (0x25 through 0x7FFF). Default is 500 Hz.

On top of that, 30kHz-65kHz is way outside the range that normal speakers can produce. My Logitech Z-2300's can only do Frequency response: 35 Hz20 kHz. Edited by weaponx
