ScreenCapture issues

Recommended Posts

i'm using the simple script below and am trying to capture my desktop, now my problem is the color saved in the "desktop.jpg" are not exactly the same as they are displayed on my desktop... can someone explain why? tried different options but they seem to not even have any effect on the captured colors but only on the jpg size...

#include <ScreenCapture.au3>

; Capture full screen

_ScreenCapture_SetBMPFormat(3)

_ScreenCapture_SetTIFCompression(1)

_ScreenCapture_SetTIFColorDepth(32)

_ScreenCapture_Capture("desktop.jpg")

Or use *.png format, imo it's a better choice when needed small file size with good quality.

ty, that did the trick (however it's strange the image quality is depended on the format rather than the options specified by autoit when saving it to bmp) :)

after changing the ending to *.png the colors were captured correctly...
