Hi,

Can someone see what I'm doing wrong here

(AutoIT Version 3.3.12.0 )

#include <Misc.au3>
#include <Array.au3>

dim $numbers = ["1.1.1.1","1.1.3","3.2.5.1","1.3.1.2","10.2"]
_ArrayAdd($numbers,"0")

for $x= 0 to UBound($numbers) -2
    for $y = 0 to UBound($numbers) -2
        if _VersionCompare($numbers[$y],$numbers[$y+1]) = -1 then
            $temp=$numbers[$y]
            $numbers[$y] = $numbers[$y+1]
            $numbers[$y+1] = $temp
        EndIf
        ConsoleWrite($numbers[$y]& @CRLF)
    Next
    ConsoleWrite("-------"& @CRLF)
Next

_ArrayDisplay($numbers)

It should display,

10.2
3.2.5.1
1.3.1.2
1.1.3
1.1.1.1

but does not.

Thanks,

Nigel

Do you mean on the arraydisplay or on the console

on array display it does what you said

Not for me,

Update to the latest version, it probably is due to the enhancement that was done in the latest version that gives us the correct results.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.
