Hello,

How I can use PixelChecksum with tolerance?

I am building an application that inspects our product to see if a LED is on or not. I take the image via a webcam and my pictures looks like this:

 

 

 

The problem is that at another product, the led is also on but my PixelChecksum, thinks is off because the led light is a little bit different:

 

 

My searching area is in that yellow rectangular:

 

 

The red thing is the reference point which is always at the same distance to the led

I'm not aware of a way to do that (tolerance) with Pixel Checksum.  I know PixelSearch supports shade variation.  You could search for and find the red dot/area location, then relative to that measure the color where the LED is.

I also have producs like this were the light is the same like the case so a pixelchange I think is the best solution to detect all
