ohaya
Hi, Is there a way to catch "syntax" errors (e.g., using a var before it is declared, duplicate vars, etc.) in my code at runtime and handle them? [FYI, I am working with an older version of AutoIT - we are forced to use the version that comes with the COTS product that we are using.] Thanks, Jim EDIT: The AutoIT version was use is 3.3.6.1. Earthshine
There should be a directive to set the warning levels that will throw exceptions when they find stuff like that when I get back to the office I’ll try to look it up unless somebody else does first My resources are limited. You must ask the right questions

BrewManNH
Use AU3Check before you compile it to make sure there's no issues. Also, test the scripts more, because this should hardly ever happen in a properly tested app.. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
