spudw2k Posted May 17, 2020 Posted May 17, 2020 I'm not able to download the attachment (Permissions.au3) on my current workstation, but looking at the spoiler (Reveal hidden contents) beneath the 22/2/2012 update on the original post, I would take a look at the _GetAce, _GetObjectDacl and _GetSecurityDescriptorDacl functions in the UDF. Also, icacls may be an easy way to get the info you need. The UDF seems to have a lot of functions besides just retrieving file permissions.
