hi guys ... i have a question

sometimes when i make helper app for games i use hotkeys and then i loop using While/Wend waiting for input from a user with the hotkeys like so .

Quote

HotKeySet("{F5}", "start")
HotKeySet("{F6}", "stop")
HotKeySet("{F8}", "CLOSE")

;## MAIN LOOP SECTION
While 1
    Sleep(200)
WEnd

i was wondering, is there a better and faster way of making autoit stay on some sort of loop waiting for user input ?

cause i feel like While loop is affecting performance a bit.

Sorry @SIDEKICKbut the forum rules do not permit discussion of scripts dealing with game interaction. I recommend you review the rules, particularly rule #7 as this thread will likely be locked by the moderators.

Welcome to the AutoIt forum.

Unfortunately you appear to have missed the Forum rules on your way in. Please read them now - particularly the bit about not discussing game automation - and then you will understand why you will get no help and this thread will now be locked.

See you soon with a legitimate question I hope.
