dark_jedi Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 When something goes wrong (Such as an infinite loop) I would like to be able to stop my script. Is there a way to stop executing the script. In c++ crl+c will end your console program. So, if you are in an infinite loop or for any reason you can stop the proram. Something like this would be nice. Thanks.
RazerM Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 In SciTe press Ctrl+Break. If coded correctly, your program won't go into an infinite loop. If you want it to however, you can set a hotkey that quits your program. Uten Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 Add a HotKeySet or end the script with a rightclick on the traybar icon. HotKeySet ( "^e", "TerminateMe" ); CTRL+e While 1 sleep(50) WEnd Exit Func TerminateMe() Exit EndFunc Please keep your sig. small! Use the help file. Search the forum.
