I have this problem, I have this small GUI with a button in the middle. The button has to close the GUI. The code below is what I have at the moment.

#include <GUIConstants.au3>
Global $IniFile
Global $GUIWidth
Global $GUIHeight
$GUIWidth = 240
$GUIHeight = 240
$Randomboy = GUICreate("Randomboy", $GUIWidth, $GUIHeight)
$Randomboy_Pos = WinGetPos($Randomboy, "")
GUISetState(@SW_SHOW)
$button_1 = GUICtrlCreateButton ( "", 105, 90, 30, 30)
GUICtrlCreateLabel("DO NOT PRESS", 80, 130)
While 1
    $msg = GUIGetMsg()
    Select
        Case $msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            ExitLoop
        Case $msg = $button_1
        GUIDelete
    EndSelect
Wend
While 1
$msg = GUIGetMsg()
If $msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE Then ExitLoop
Wend
GUIDelete()

The GUIDelete function doesn't work(line 18)

This is the error message I get.

Line 18 (C:\.......)

GUIDelete

^ERROR

Error: Error parsing function call.

Can anyone help me resolve this.

Thanks in advance.

I'm surprised people haven't started refusing to help this guy... That probably isnt the real code and is probably just part of his malware program.

Edit: BTW, you have an unused variable in there... $IniFile, didn't know you needed INIs to close a GUI.

If you were to look at all his post - I think everyone will agree - the user is up to no good.

Hi,

I don't understand why so many scriptKids try to make really bad scripts. :whistle:

Scripting something for playing a joke to a friend - okay.

Creating bots for cheating in games - okay.

But this stuff is no good for anybody.

So long,

Mega

Scripts & functions Organize Includes Let Scite organize the include files

Yahtzee The game "Yahtzee" (Kniffel, DiceLion)

LoginWrapper Secure scripts by adding a query (authentication)

_RunOnlyOnThis UDF Make sure that a script can only be executed on ... (Windows / HD / ...)

Internet-Café Server/Client Application Open CD, Start Browser, Lock remote client, etc.

MultipleFuncsWithOneHotkey Start different funcs by hitting one hotkey different times
