Shellexec

What would be the best way to code a ShellExec Command in Autoit that would open and play an mp3 file.

I have no clue where to begin, couldnt find any code examples in the forums or help.

thanks.

havent tested it, but i think yu coudl use the DOS "start" comand, as so:

$mymp3 = '"C:\KaZaa Dowloads\mymp3.mp3"'

run("start " & $mymp3)

Im pretty sure that would work...

Spyro, you should get points for turnaround time for replys. You're quick as lightning.

Onto the subject at hand, i was hoping to not have to use the Start command. I was wondering if there was a way to make an actuall ShellExec Call from Autoit just like you can run some WSH code.

I hope i'm making sense.

Sorry for the bump, but i just wanted to make sure that using the start command is the ONLY way to run a shellexec code in Autoit?

Thanks.
