MsgBox() - timeout not working

 Share

Recommended Posts

I have some code that should show the msgbox() for a second and then it goes away - it does for the most part, but everytime I run my code it stops about the same place - after going through 1042 files. The msgbox just sits there waiting and then when I press OK - program continues.

Since one of my functions calls this and it does come up - it should be something wrong with this - right?

But like I said this msgbox comes up about 17 times during the 1042 files an NO problem.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Func _ErrorComMsg($HexNumber, $typeError)
    MsgBox(0, "ERROR = " & $typeError, " We intercepted a COM Error !" & @CRLF & @CRLF & _
            "err.description is: '" & @TAB & $oMyError.description & '"' & @CRLF & _
            "err.windescription: '" & @TAB & $oMyError.windescription & '"' & @CRLF & _
            "err.number is: '" & @TAB & $HexNumber & '"' & @CRLF & _
            "err.lastdllerror is: '" & @TAB & $oMyError.lastdllerror & '"' & @CRLF & _
            "err.scriptline is: '" & @TAB & $oMyError.scriptline & '"' & @CRLF & _
            "err.source is: '" & @TAB & $oMyError.source & '"' & @CRLF & _
            "err.helpfile is: '" & @TAB & $oMyError.helpfile & '"' & @CRLF & _
            "err.helpcontext is: '" & @TAB & $oMyError.helpcontext, 1)
EndFunc   ;==>_ErrorComMsg

You've given zero useful information. The AutoIt version and the operating system are both extremely important for this problem.

So sorry -

OS = XP sp1

Use the latest version of AutoIt. The version you are using is over 2 months old. MsgBox() was fixed in a newer version.

Again sorry - thanks for the fix.
