Some hints:

- What else is marked on the key? On my keyboard it is "6".

- I get "^" by pressing "Shft" and "6".

At my keyboard it is on an extra key left beside 1 and above tab.

On this key there is also ° .

Just use OutputDebugString. Make a GUI window and process the WM_KEYDOWN or WM_CHAR and use OutputDebugString on each posted WM_KEYDOWN event. Shift+6 register the same key value but it's the DispatchMessage that process the keys combination.

Check like this:

If _IsPressed(10) And _IsPressed(36) Then MsgBox(0, "", "^ Pressed")

Or you can use _IsPressedEx UDF and do it like this:

#include <IsPressedEx_UDF.au3>

HotKeySet("^q", "_Quit")

$hU32_DllOpen = DllOpen("User32.dll")

While 1
    $iRet = _IsPressedEx("{SHIFT}+6", $hU32_DllOpen)
    If $iRet = 1 Then _Output_IsPressedEx_Result($iRet, @Extended)

Func _Output_IsPressedEx_Result($iRet, $iExtended)
    Local $sTT_Data = StringFormat("+ _IsPressedEx Return:\t%s\n! @Extended code:\t%i (see docs for details)", $iRet, $iExtended)

Func _Quit()
