how to get a computer's FQDN

i tried using the _ADSamAccountNameToFQDN function in adfunctions.au3 but that only works for user accounts not computers.. *sigh*

Have you add a dollar sign "$" to the SamAccountName ?

wish it the problem was that easy... but yes i used the $ sign =)

i think this function is meant for user names NOT computers.. anyone know how to get FQDN for computers (using AUTOIT)?

"$" is definitely for computers! Try this code to get the FQDN of your computer:
