This is my first post. I have been using AutoIT for a couple of years now off and on and I am getting into more complex scripts. What I would like to do is watch a particular network shared folder and whenever a new file is added to that folder, run a script to manipulate that file. I realize that the script would need to run at all times in a loop, but I don't think that's a big deal. I have already created a script that needs to be initiated by the user whenever they save a file to the folder. I would like to make this a seamless process so the user doesn't have to remember to run the script themselves.

Thanks for your help!

when i understand it right then a function should run the full time the look up to while and search there always for files in a folder and if ther is a unknown the return for example a msgbox or what you would like
