Hi Water, is it possible to change only one field of an specific computer in AD? for example company. If so, what script should I use.

I'm trying with this without success:

Water, my question is: how to indicate to look into the --> objectCategory=computer

The samaccountname for a computer ends with a $ sign. So try "program32$".

I´m at home now so I´ll test it tomorrow. A question, will the script lookit up in AD sequentially? or it will go directly to the record? Because we have over 80k computers.

It will directly go to this computer. AD is indexed on the samaccountname.

Not at the moment. But could be a possible enhancement for this function.

Hi Water, is it any fast way to look for a login name other than the follow that takes a lot of time?

To retrieve some or all properties of a single known object use function _AD_GetObjectProperties.

I would like to retrieve data of one or more objects, for instance all the users with login name starting with "p", and it takes a lot of time,

I also want to retrieve data for a single user name and according to some fields content I want to modify some attributes.

In an over 100k users database it takes me a lot of time, what do you  recommend me to do.

Are this users spread over multiple OUs or even multiple controllers?

the 100k users are spread over multiple OUs, I only need the users spread into three OUs which are 2k aprox.

is it possible  to restrict the search only to an specific OU?

Sure: Parameter $sOU allows to specify the OU where to start searching. Parameter $iSearchScope allows to specify the search depth (one-level, subtree).
