Nope, you don't need it. It's obnoxious as hell. Use quotes or spoilers or some other forum functionality.

Not sure what function your revering to. Or do you just mean the whole code block?

The contrasting color functions were what I was referring to. I have a tendency to think of programs like these in terms of what they demonstrate instead of the particular use to which those functions were put.

Because ColorHLSToRGB and ColorRGBToHLS have a fixed accuracy limitation. (1/240 v 1/255)

Valid values for HLS - 0..240, there is no limitation. Look at my ColorChooser for example.
