i found my answer already. no need for help!

hi all,

this is the situation:

we have a three-story-building so three levels of printers, first floor, second, and third of course

but if a user logs in at the first floor, the printer at the first floor need to be default.

and then when the user logs out and then logs in at the second floor, the printer of the second floor should be the default printer

is there a way to do that?

i know there is in kixtart(also some kind of automation scripting language) a function that looks in which group you belong but of course i want to do this with autoit.

<code from kixtart>

If InGroup("firstfloor")

ADDPRINTERCONNECTION ("\\server\Laserjet first floor")

EndIf

</code from kixtart>

Thank you for your time! :mellow:

Could you please describe your solution? Just in case other users with the same problem search the forum in the future. So they will find a solution.
