nitron
Hy, I know, there are a lot of posts for network Printers, but after searching an reading trough the Forum for nearly 2 Hours, I don't se any sense in looking any longer. Maybe my english is not good enough to understand the solution and so i just over read it. For the Question seems firmly simple. normally I woud use the Start -> Run command from windows to add a Printer located on a Printingserver simply by typing \\server\Printer For some reason this doesn't work with Autoit?! run("\\server\Printer") would have been to easy i gues?! So, maybe some one can help me.. Using the "RUNDLL32", 'PRINTUI.DLL... Command, seems a lot to complicated way to ad a Network Printer! Thanks in Advance

Here you can find readymade functions to include in your script. water
I found that Solution, but i had hoped to find an easier way :-(Why do you want an "easier" way? What can be easier then a set of working functions you download from the forum? Pack them together in an include file (UDF) and every script just has one line to include the UDF and a second to add a printer. That's easy enough My UDFs and Tutorials: Spoiler UDFs:Active Directory (NEW 2022-02-19 - Version 1.6.1.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts - WikiExcelChart (2017-07-21 - Version 0.4.0.1) - Download - General Help & Support - Example ScriptsOutlookEX (2021-11-16 - Version 1.7.0.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts - WikiOutlookEX_GUI (2021-04-13 - Version 1.4.0.0) - DownloadOutlook Tools (2019-07-22 - Version 0.6.0.0) - Download - General Help & Support - WikiPowerPoint (2021-08-31 - Version 1.5.0.0) - Download - General Help & Support - Example Scripts - WikiTask Scheduler (NEW 2022-07-28 - Version 1.6.0.1) - Download - General Help & Support - Wiki Standard UDFs:Excel - Example Scripts - WikiWord - Wiki Tutorials:ADO - WikiWebDriver - Wiki
