Autoit on linux ?

How can i compile an autoit script to a linux file (.bin not .exe) ? or cant be done ?

Using a programming/scripting tool made for windows in Unix seems completely pointless to me.

But don't get me wrong, apart from AutoIt and one or two other nice programs there's no reason for me to use Windows.

I don't have Linux, but I thought Wine was for running .exe files. The OP wants to know whether AutoIt can compile to .bin.

Sorry, you are correct. He/she would have to compile to exe, then port using Wine. A warning though, it's been reported that a few of the AutoIt functions don't port well so you may or may not be successful.
