autonoobs
Hello All, I am trying to run slaptool from autoit. The command that I use to run is RunWait(@COMSPEC & ' /c slaptool.exe -a -s -p -P -o "CN=' & $user[1] ' .OU=USERS.O=DATA.T=IDMAUTH"' & $user[1]'.xml') I want to import files depending on the variable user[1]. But I am not able to do this. When I use a static file name, like the code written below it works. RunWait(@COMSPEC & ' /c slaptool.exe -a -s -p -P -o "CN= joe.OU=USERS.O=DATA.T=IDMAUTH" joe.xml') Kindly let me know what format should I use to run the command and import file during runtime for the files with variable user[1]

water
RunWait(@COMSPEC & ' /c slaptool.exe -a -s -p -P -o "CN=' & $user[1] & ' .OU=USERS.O=DATA.T=IDMAUTH" ' & $user[1] & '.xml') You are missing a couple of ampersands. To check what get's handed over to RunWait replace RuNWait with ConsoleWrite and see if you get the correct command string.
