kylomas Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 (edited) wytas3, I what context? If the string subtitution is to occur within an AutoIT app you do NOT need any hooking function. If you want system wide substitution then a LL hook may be the answer, but you may need to build in the capability to NOT substitute, based on condition. If you decide that you need a LL hook, use the _hotstring UDF. IT has a really slick technique for posting back from the hook call. kylomas Edit: additional info Credit to Manadar for the hotstring UDF.
