simple email question

[Max in montreal]

I work for a big box store and as part of my job I have to send out email to specific stores.

email addresses look something like this:

st123mgr@email.ca

st123emp@email.ca

st123bos@email.ca

every store has the same email address, its just the store number that changes.the above example is for store 123.

my emails require me to send info to 3 people in the store, so i would like to create a script that...

asks me for the store number

cuts cust name from a window from another window

cuts po number from that same window

creates an email using outlook with:

to :st123mgr@email.ca; st123emp@email.ca; st123bos@email.ca

Subject: the cut PO number

Body:

please be advised that we have sent part for CUST NAME under case PO number.

only things that change are store number, cust name and po number..

I have seen the inetmail function, but it will not work for me. I mean it works but I am hoping there is a better way.

For Outlook 2007 and later you could use my OutlookEX UDF. Search for function _OL_Wrapper_SendMail to easily send an email.
