MJColt Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 I am hoping that someone can lend me a hand. It has been ages since I've tried any coding and I now find myself wanting to automate a simple keystroke "return" for an application.I thought this would work.$Loops = 50For $x = 1 To $Loops Sleep(1000) Send(return) Sleep(1000)NextAny help that could get me on the right path would be appreciated. Thanks!
water Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Why do you want to press "Return" 50 times? And why do you need the Sleep statements? MJColt Posted February 11, 2012 Author Posted February 11, 2012 Basically there is a pop up in a game that requires pressing enter until your finger falls off. I would like to automate the repetitive nature of the process. The sleep is in place to cover the time the game takes to require the next "enter/return." I just grabbed the sleep 1000 for the time break, and I figured I would tune it to the actual game time once I know the script is working. I haven't touched anything with coding since the early 90's, so I'm really struggling. The actual repetition time is about 5-6 seconds, so I'm assuming that it would be 5000 for the actual timing?
